Venue Details - Hewitson Theatre, STARplex

Hewitson Theatre is a large, multi-purpose facility that allows for flexible seating arrangements and setups.

The Theatre uses modern sound, lighting and audio-visual equipment to best suit a variety of productions.

Hewitson Theatre can cater for a wide range of functions, including conventions and seminars, drama and musical performances, cabaret shows, dance and youth theatre, graduations and presentation nights, exhibitions and trade fairs, business and social functions, parties, weddings, and more!

Catering

Catering for your event, big or small, can be organised through the Theatre Coordinator. Please ensure adequate notice is given for large events (i.e. parties, weddings, etc.).

Marnkutyi Parirna (Three Rivers) Theatre - Trinity College

The spectacular Marnkutyi Parirna Theatre at Trinity College (opened October 2023) has a range of configurations to suit a variety of performances. 

The ‘Theatre’ mode provides a Proscenium Arch stage, with masking legs (9.5m-16m wide and 9.2m-9.4m deep stage), stage extension, raked seating (capacity of 500) and state of the art Audio, Lighting, AV and staging elements. 

The ‘Orchestral’ or shell mode, provides an acoustically live but clean sound for orchestras or big bands particularly.
