STARplex Swim Centre is a proudly a Watch Around Water centre.

  • Children under the age of 5 years must have a responsible person aged 16 years minimum within arm’s reach at all times.
  • Children under the age of 10 years must have direct parental supervision.
  • A child of limited swimming ability and/or reliant on a floatation aid must be accompanied in the water by a parent/guardian, regardless of age.
  • No GLASS in the pool area at any time

Are balloons allowed in the pool as decorations?

Party tables are set up with table decorations. If you want to bring your own balloons you are most welcome to.

Can the children bring blow up floating devices?

Pool parties come with a supply of pool noodles, sinking and floating toys and pool mats. External toys are unable to be used due to safety concerns.

Can the children dress-up eg: Spiderman theme?

Children are able to arrive dressed in character however in the pools, bathers must be worn. Face paint and coloured hair spray is not allowed in the pools.

Do you have wheelchair access?

STARplex Swim Centre has a beach step entry into our learner’s pool. Our main pool has an automatic pool lifter which can be used. We have a disabled change room in each of our male and female change rooms and a family/disabled change room available.

Age range for parties?

We recommend our parties for 5 – 10 years of age. *STARplex Swim Centre is a Watch Around Water centre, therefore all swimmers under the age of 5 years must have a responsible person (aged minimum 16 years) in the water within arms reach at all times.

How many children Under 5 who don’t swim are allowed? Extra hosts to supervise?

Children under the age of 5 years must have a responsible person aged at least 16 years in the pool with them within arm’s reach at all times.

What can parents do in the pool?

If they wish to, parents of the birthday child can swim free of charge. All other spectators/carers of the pool party will need to pay on entry if they want to swim.

What games are played?

Our pool party hosts have a range of age appropriate games and activities and the children will also have a period of free time to play with their friends under the watch of the pool party host.

Allergies?

Once your pool party booking is confirmed, STARplex will be in contact to discuss final numbers and any dietary requirements. We will do our best to cater for all participants.

Menu choices and pricing?

There is a selection of foods that you are able to choose from provided by Vintage Chef Co Cafe and once you enquire, our staff will be in contact to go through the options.

Birthday Cake

You are able to select STARplex supplying a birthday cake for an additional cost of $30 or you are able to bring your own cake.

Can guests BYO food/drinks? Can STARplex heat up food or allow use of fridge freezers?

Unfortunately due to health concerns you are unable to bring food/drinks and we are unable to heat up any food or allow the use of fridge and freezers.

Time format?

We have a time format that allows for pool party fun, time to eat and finishing the party with birthday cake.

What items are in the goodie bags?

Party participants will receive:

  • Selection of mixed lollies
  • Vouchers for a family pass at STARplex Swim Centre

What is the maximum number of guests?

We are happy to negotiate parties with 30+ children.

Do guests have access to large pool and/or small pool?

Our learner’s pool is generally our pool party pool. Once you have completed the enquiry form, our staff will be in contact to discuss any individual needs. We will do our best to cater for your requests. Pool space is dependent on skills/age of participants and availability of pool pace in the main pool.
