STARplex Stadium boast four indoor air-conditioned courts with sprung wooden floors and upgraded backboards, heaps of natural light plus updated LEDs. Our facilities are suitable for participants of all skill levels whether they are learning a new game or playing at competition level.
All players must wear appropriate and consistent uniforms with player numbers clearly visible. Similar shirts in different shades are not acceptable and penalties will apply. All teams must supply their own scorer. If a team fails to nominate a scorer, ten points will be awarded to the opposing team.

Aussie Hoops Basketball
Fridays 4.00 - 4.45pm. 5-10 year olds. Starting Friday 7 February, 2025 (Term 1).
Basketball Australia’s official introductory program, providing a fun and inclusive basketball experience for 5 to 10 year olds. In addition to promoting healthy and active lifestyles, the program serves as a platform for social development and inclusion - fostering stronger and more vibrant communities and individuals.
Term 1 program runs until 28th March, 2025.

Aussie Hoops Program Term Fee - $120.00 (new) or $105 (returning) - 8 weeks

Little Lions & Junior Lions Basketball
Little Lions - (5-11yrs) TRAINING - Thursday (4-5pm and 5-6pm), or Friday (4.30-5.30pm)
Junior Lions - (12-16yrs) TRAINING - Thursday (4-5pm)
Little & Junior Lions basketball development program teaches basic basketball fundamentals in a fun environment. Run by qualified coaches, this structured program provides pathways into STARplex basketball competition teams. You have the option to register for either training only or both training and games.
Fees
Training -$135 per term for Little Lions and Junior Lions. Programs operate all 4 school terms within the year.
Games - An additional fee of $87 per term will apply if player is placed in a team. Players are placed in teams based on availability. Games are on Tuesdays for 5-11yrs and Mondays for 12-16yrs

Open Men’s Basketball
Monday & Tuesday nights.
For the avid or social basketball player. These competitions are held over 20 weeks including finals. The top four teams in each division compete in the finals.
Summer Season resumes Monday 6th January, 2025.
Mondays: Division 1 to 4
Tuesdays: Open Division
Grades/Division nominations - At STARplex we aim to provide a fair and competitive season for all teams.
STARplex permits teams to self-nominate their grade when completing registration. In the early weeks of the season our competition co-ordinator’s might adjust teams into a new grade to ensure a fair and satisfying competition for all players.

Open Women’s Basketball
Tuesday am Senior Women's. Games 9.30am & 10.15am.
Games are conducted in a social basketball competition with players looking for fun and fitness. No points are recorded and an end of season fun day is held. Games are played over two school terms (except school holidays).

Player Performance Pathways U12 & U14
Thursdays nights. Court 4.
Junior Academy (Invitation Only) 1 hour 15 minutes. 5.15-6.30pm.
Teaches advanced skills to emerging talent by certified coaches with the purpose of achieving in the future. Athlete skill level, physical fitness, total body strength, mental sharpness and technical abilities are honed. Register interest via email- courts@starplex.com.au.
Advanced 10 (Invitation Only) 1 hour. 6.30-7.30pm.
Precision and attention to detail stressed and pursed. Weekly clinics for 10 players with advanced skills, designed to improve player's skill level, develop confidence and execute consistently. Basketball Referee Courses - Basketball SA
