Monthly Gym Challenge

JUNE CHALLENGE - Push Up - JOIN TEAM STARplex!  

Our June Challenge will be different this time round but for a good reason. We invite the whole STARplex community to join as a team and aim to complete 3,307 push-ups in 24 days, representing the 3,307 lives lost to suicide last year. Every life matters, and behind every number is a person, a family, a community.

This June (3rd to 26th), we move, connect, and prioritise mental health to help change the statistic for the better.

Repeat as much times as you wish during the month & record your result in-club on the Member Whiteboard located within the Fitness Centre.

STARplex MONTHLY GYM CHALLENGE – TERMS & CONDITIONS

Goal: 
Member participation, motivation and STARplex rewarding our fitness community.

Entry:

  • Participants must complete the challenge of the month, as listed on the in-gym Challenge Whiteboard (Pit Stop zone).
  • Results must be recorded on the Challenge Whiteboard, with member's full name.
  • One final entry, per person, per month on the Challenge Whiteboard. Challenge may be attempted multiple times if participant wishes to 'beat' their own result.
  • Tag us @starplexgawler in your stories on social media to encourage participation. 

Eligibility: 

  • Open to current paying (on-going direct debit, upfront – excludes visit pass and 14-day trials) entrants gym members aged 16 and over.
  • Staff members may participate but are not eligible for the prize.
  • **Must be Aged 16 and over, for resistance exercises. Children under 16 years of age can only participate in cardio-based challenges under the supervision of staff. Challenge Whiteboard will be marked with 'Stop' sign for those challenges not child friendly. 

Duration: 
Challenge runs from month start to month end. All entries must be completed and submitted within this period – socials post each month and then winner announced in the comments at month end, along with social stories.

Prize:
One entrant will be selected at random to receive 2 weeks of free gym membership & VCC coffee card. The prize is not transferable or redeemable for cash. 

Winner Selection:
This is a game of chance. All eligible entries will go into a random draw. The winner will be drawn at random and contacted via phone or email. As well as announced via social media.

Liability: 
By participating, entrants accept all risks associated with physical activity, consult a health professional if unsure about participation.

Changes: 
STARplex reserves the right to modify or cancel the challenge at any time.
