Lap Swimming

STARplex Swim Centre’s friendly lifeguards are on duty during all public sessions to provide support and advice to all swimmers.

All our lifeguards are qualified swimming instructors with a wealth of information and all swimmers are encouraged to consult one of our pool lifeguards for advice on any aspect of their swimming.

Recreational Swimming

Our family swim sessions on Saturdays and Sundays are excellent value and a great way to relax at the end or a busy week. In addition to the health benefits of recreational swimming, a visit to the Swim Centre is excellent value for money.

2026 Scheduled Closure Dates:

  • Monday 26th January. Closed for Public Holiday.
  • Friday 6th February. Closed between 9am - 3pm. *No morning swimming/lessons 9-11am. No public swimming 1.30pm - 3pm.
  • Monday 9th March. Closed for Adelaide Cup Public Holiday.
  • Friday 3rd - Monday 6th April. Closed for Easter Weekend.
  • Saturday 25th April. Closed for ANZAC Day Public Holiday.
  • Monday 8th June. Closed for King's Birthday Public Holiday.
  • Monday 5th October. Closed for Labour Day Public Holiday.
